Our team work with over 1,000 suppliers across the UK. We're expertly placed to help make your event planning as stress-free as possible; now more than ever with the evolving COVID-19 changes. If you book and then later need to postpone or cancel, the team are here to liaise between you and your suppliers to make any changes. They can act as mediators between you and the supplier to organise refunds for cancelled events or find new replacement suppliers if yours is unavailable on your new event date.

Your money is absolutely secure with Feast It. We hold it in a third-party account until after your event has taken place, meaning you don't need to worry about losing money if your supplier closes their business.

The impact of COVID-19

It's no surprise that the COVID-19 pandemic has hit the hospitality industry hard - most of our suppliers are left unable to work and every day we're helping out customers who have been forced to postpone or cancel their events.

Behind the scenes, our team is working as hard as ever - albeit from our homes - to make this difficult time as smooth as possible for all parties. We're here to help however we can - matching you with incredible suppliers for events later this year and into 2021, finding new dates for postponed events and helping to make any cancellations as simple as possible.

Supporting our suppliers

We've seen firsthand the effect the pandemic has had on the hundreds of small businesses we work with. As well as providing the latest advice and schemes from the government, we recently surveyed our 500+ suppliers to find out how restrictions have impacted them. We're now working to raise awareness over the lack of government support for the events industry, and make sure their businesses make it out of this as unscathed as possible. We're also continually highlighting the fantastic alternative services our suppliers are now offering like home deliveries, DIY kits and private dining experiences.


Are suppliers still taking bookings?

Absolutely - our suppliers are taking bookings for later this year and 2021. Many people are choosing to postpone their 2020 events to 2021 so next year is already filling up for many suppliers! As soon as the government gives the green light for it to be safe to do so, our suppliers will be back to doing what they do best.

What if I decide to postpone my event?

That's no problem. There are no extra charges from Feast It to organise the postponement of your event - we'll help out with liaising with suppliers to move everything to your new date.

What happens if my supplier goes out of business?

One of the benefits of booking your supplier through Feast It is that your money is completely secure. It is held in a third-party account and only ever released to the supplier after your event. This means you can book with confidence knowing that if your supplier cannot make it to your event, your money is still safely held with us and we can easily sort out finding a great replacement. We work with over 1,000 suppliers so our team will get to work finding you a fantastic replacement and make sure everything is transferred over smoothly.

What happens if I reduce my guest numbers?

These sorts of issues are exactly why we're here! Our team will liaise between you and your supplier to make any changes to guest numbers or any other details - we'll also help to sort out any changes to costs or logistics.

What if my supplier isn't available for my postponed date?

That's exactly what our team are here for - we know our suppliers inside-out and will be able to find you some great replacement options. Once you've decided, we'll do all the work to transfer everything over to your new supplier and date.

What precautions will suppliers take when events resume?

All of our suppliers will be working within the guidelines from the government to take necessary measures to make sure you and your guests are perfectly safe when events resume. For extra peace of mind, all of our food and drink suppliers have either an official FSA hygiene rating of 4 or 5 stars - we won't accept any less.

What happens if I have to cancel my event due to COVID-19?

Changing the date or details of a booking is free and simple with us. If it looks like you'll have to cancel your event, the best thing to do is get in touch, and our team will do everything they can to help.
