The cost can vary a lot due to party size and the type of drink you want. As a guideline, alcoholic beverages cost between £10 and £20 a head per event. Hot drinks, such as coffee and hot chocolate, cost approximately £2.50 to £3 per item, and soft drinks, such as juices and smoothies, cost roughly £3 to £4 per item. Our drinks suppliers will bring everything they need to the venue, which includes their setup (a vehicle, gazebo or market stall), their produce, their equipment and the containers in which their drinks are served. If there is anything very particular that you want, like personalised birthday girl prosecco glasses, you might have to provide them yourself! Just chat to the supplier on our website and they’ll let you know what’s what.
Most of our alcohol suppliers also sell soft drinks, so there will be something for everyone. A few of our cocktail suppliers include mocktails on their menus, such as The Travelling Gin Co, so no one feels as if they’re missing out. When you make an enquiry, let us know that you want both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and we’ll make sure to get you a suitable trader.
From farms to funfairs, our drinks suppliers will be more than happy to work outdoors in almost any location. The size of the outdoor space you have will dictate the type of setup they bring with them. Quite a few of our suppliers can also set up indoors, so just let us know that your event is indoors when you enquire online.
It can take our suppliers anywhere from half an hour to a few hours to set up, but you can liaise with them to arrange a time for them to arrive at your venue, so you’ll be able to keep the surprise a secret pretty easily. You’ll have the supplier's contact details, so you can always give them a call on the day if the birthday boy or girl shows up too early!
