Feast It

Posh kebab catering

Kebabs are part of a street food transformation happening right before our eyes. Once existing to sustain late night drinkers and hungover students, the new age of ‘posh kebabs’ has begun. Forget ‘elephant legs’ of meat, dried up pittas, overpowering garlic sauce and soggy salad… Taking authentic recipes and flavours from The Middle East, our street food traders make rustic and luxurious kebabs from only the best quality ingredients, and they're the perfect catering solution for your wedding, birthday party or corporate lunch!

The posh kebab revolution is now

Our fabulous kebab traders have created their own innovative, gourmet versions of the classic kebab, and are all available to book for your next event! These exciting dishes usually consist of grilled meat or vegetables, cooked over hot coals or fire to give them a wonderfully smokey taste. The street food scene has taken these late night classics and turned them on their head, filling them with intense flavour and a whole load of wholesomeness. Unlike your local, unappetising kebab shop, these dishes are expertly made with good, honest ingredients and are a total taste explosion. Expect nutritious ingredients, tons of natural colour from all the seasonal herbs and veg, freshly baked breads and seriously succulent meats. Posh kebabs are a crowd pleaser and are guaranteed to go down a treat with party guests and colleagues alike!

Murray May’s specialise in Middle Eastern charcoal cooked cuisine, and they’re the only street food truck in the UK to have an actual Turkish mangal grill inside their vehicle! They serve fire-roasted aubergine, marinated chicken shish with harissa yoghurt, spiced lamb shoulder with smoky babaganoush and many more entrancing Middle Eastern flavours from a shiny copper bar at the window of their cool 1987 Mercedes ambulance. If you want high quality seasonal British produce combined with intoxicating Eastern spices and flavours, then look no further than Murray May’s for your next event.

Our happy customers

A friend recommended Feast It to me when I was looking into catering for my husband‘s 60th. We had steak frites and a wine van and everyone absolutely loved it, so unique!

When we were planning our wedding, the catering was the part that stressed us out the most. Thankfully I discovered Feast It and that all disappeared!

FAQs

How much does posh kebab catering cost?

The cost of catering can vary a lot due to the size of the event and the trader you choose, but as a guideline, the minimum spend per head for food is roughly £7. Alcoholic drinks cost between £10 and £20 per head for an event. Booking one of our street food traders or pop-up bars is approximately 75% cheaper than using a traditional caterer!

What’s included by the caterers?

The caterers will bring everything they need to your event. This includes their vehicle or market stall, their equipment, their produce and the containers in which their food or drink is served. If you want anything extra or personalised you might have to provide it yourself, but just chat to your trader using our online chat system and they can answer any questions you might have.

Can the supplier cater for dietary requirements?

Absolutely. We have a great selection of dairy free, gluten free, kosher, halal, vegetarian and vegan caterers so we will have someone who can cater for your needs. Please include this information when you enquire online so we can make sure to find you the perfect caterer.

Can the caterer operate both indoors and outdoors?

Our suppliers can cook outdoors pretty much anywhere. The size of the outside space you have will dictate whether they bring a food truck or a market stall. Many of our traders can also make their food and drink indoors, so let us know where your event is taking place when you enquire online.

Can the caterers cook from a kitchen at the venue?

The vast majority of our caterers will be more than happy to cook their delicious food from the kitchen at your venue, they will just need to check what equipment is available before they confirm. Please mention this in your enquiry form so we can make the ideal recommendations.

How do I pay for the catering?

We have a seamless and secure booking system at Feast It, which we’re pretty proud of. You can pay for your caterer on our site and we will hold all the money until the day after your event before releasing it to the caterer. You can even use our flexible monthly payment plan and spread the cost. Booking a prepaid caterer is really reliable and easy, so you can simply enjoy your event without having to worry about any of the money stuff!
