The Gin Bar

The Gin Bar's portable bars is perfect for a whole range of occasions such as private parties, exhibitions, corporate events, weddings and a whole host of outdoor events, such as local festivals. With a beautiful rustic design their gin bars are full of character and more importantly, gin – lots and lots of gin! 

To cover the important particulars: the bar is available with your choice of 10 different gins and 4 different tonics – as well as a plethora of different garnishes. Simply step up to the gin bar and customise your drink from start to finish, picking your gin (or combination of gins – naughty!), a choice of tonic and as many of the garnishes to finish it off as you please. There is even an interactive element, if you want to get involved in the drink making experience, then by all means, step on up and have a go!

All gin bars are supplied with highly coveted ‘gin-tenders’, who will be able to answer your questions on our whole range of gins as well as discuss with you the different flavours and combinations that will taste best. they'll provide everything that is needed to keep the gin bar up and running including ice, garnishes, glassware and of course – the gin! They can also operate a rum bar as well as whisky bar depending on your preference we should have something to suit!

Hampton Court Gin

For 20 years I have been walking my dogs along the towpath in front of Hampton Court Palace, and never have I ceased to be in awe of the centuries of history that surrounds us. With Covid putting my "day job" on hold, I spent months researching the history of Hampton Court and Henry VIII, talking to Tudor food historians, visiting the palace kitchen gardens, and learning how to distil 500 years of history into a beautiful gin.  

The result is our award-winning Hampton Court Gin, launched during the summer of 2021

Our first gin - The Six Wives. 
Divorced, Beheaded, Died, Divorced, Beheaded, Survived. And so history lives on. The Six Wives is made with six distinctive botanicals all found in Henry's kitchen gardens and spices he imported to liven up his legendary feasts . Oranges first introduced to England by Katherine of Aragon in 1509. Thyme grown in the palace kitchen gardens by Cardinal Wolsey. Grains of Paradise imported from Java. Cubeb Berries from West Africa. Bitter Almond and of course Juniper. 

Followed in November 2021 by our Limited Release "Lord of Misrule", inspired by the Tudor festive tradition where the roles of King and servant were reversed during the 12 Days of Christmas with opulent masquerades, wild partying and culminating in the raucous Feast of Fools. Quince. Nutmeg. Cinnamon. Lemon. Ginger. Grains of Paradise. Honey. Bitter Almond. Juniper. 

Our customers are people who looking for a well-made, award-winning premium gin, but also want and appreciate an engaging narrative that adds substance and context to the gin they are drinking. Our audience is wide - local, national and international. We have been approached by the Royal Horticultural Society to be the official gin of Chelsea Flower Show but we are equally mindful of being a brand relevant to the burgeoning 18-35 year olds who are adopting contemporary gins as their drink of choice.

During our first 6 months we attended Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, Hampton Court Food Fair, Syon Park Foodies Festival, Spirit of Christmas, Country Living as well as a number of smaller private events. We also create bespoke experiences, for instance, gin and cocktail tastings on ticketed boat cruises on the Thames.

We have a number of different sized bars, each hand-built, burnished solid wood, accompanied by grand, freshly planted, seasonal pots and urns. We never hire agency staff, they are all sons and daughters of friends and are able to talk about our gins as well as I would.

We are Sibling Social, an event company set up to provide you with a drinks service that's reliable, easy-going and memorable. We started running pop up bars off the back of our family-run gin distillery and love taking the stress out of event planning for our clients. We love creating cocktails with bespoke menus or serving craft beers, artisan wines and gin with luxury mixers. We are not just agency staff, we are a family of trained Sommeliers, distillers and brewers, making us experts in the drinks industry, so we can always add that element of personality to your event.

We first met while working in the fashion industry in London. Throughout our careers we have worked across many fields from styling, travel, food and ultimately hospitality. Our careers have allowed us to see the world and experience many cultures, trends and tastes. We now enjoy bringing our sense of style and creativity to all the events we do.

With setup options ranging from our lovingly converted 1980s Sinclair Horsebox, to sleek & modern compact cocktail bar, to the pint-pouring Landrover Defender beer bar, we’re sure to offer services that perfectly compliment your event’s theme.

Powered by electricity connection or generator for “off grid” events there are commercial fridges and beer line cooling to ensure all drinks are ice-cold.Serving up draught beers, custom cocktails, wine, gin, and more, our passionate bartenders will ensure the drinks keep flowing! With links to many craft breweries and suppliers, we’re happy to create an artisan menu for your event; we offer customisable drinks packages to see you through from dinner to late night dancing.  With over 10 years of experience in the wedding and event bar industries, you can count on us to bring your vision to life!



Our Bars:

Sinclair Horsebox - The largest of our bars, this converted 1980s horsebox bar comes fully equipped with running water, Line-cooled taps, fridges and all the essentials for a well-stocked bar, the Sinclair is capable of catering for large events, and is our most popular option for events with 120+ guests. it comes stocked with compostable or real glassware (your choice!), and accommodates up to four bartenders for speedy service.

The Modern Mobile - With a sleek modern but down-to-earth look, our modern mobile bar is ideal for indoor events and events with limited access that require a compact setup option. Comfortably hosting two to three bartenders, the Modern Mobile is a popular choice for indoor, marquee or garden party style events. This bar can be equipped with fridges, beer taps and cocktail station, making it a versatile choice.

The Traditional - A freestanding bar that blends in excellently with rustic and art deco themes, this ‘heritage pub’ inspired setup has the ability to look like a permanent feature in your venue, and its arced shape mean this bar is well suited for corner placement. A medium sized bar suitable for up to three bartenders, the Traditional offers the same range of services as our Horsebox and Modern Mobile bars.

The Defenbar - The latest addition to our fleet, this eye-catching classic Landrover Defender brings a unique twist to any event! With up to six lines of craft beer available, as well as a small cocktail station, this bar is best suited to those looking to add something really memorable to their event.

Our original Vintage Van is a 30 year old Rice Horse Trailer, we also have a rustic pop up bars and can also serve from your own bar if preferred, we are fully flexible
