How passionate everyone in the industry is! I also love that there’s always a new project to be working on, and there’s nothing better than discovering exciting new events.
Making sure you have enough people on the ground at the event so that it runs seamlessly. Great food and drink also never go amiss!
Working on the university Summer balls is always really fun - there's normally a really creative brief to stick to. Wimbledon Rematch, an immersive, 80s themed sport experience was also one to remember!
Nothing beats a hearty Italian meal and I make a pretty good fresh tagliatelle with a slow cooked beef ragu. Served with a Caprese salad and an Aperol spritz, of course!
Cue Point are incredible - they always go down a storm at every event and are so lovely to work with. I also love how creative Bun House are, adding company logo stamps on top of their Bao buns. Restaurants-wise, Bala Baya are amazing, I’d love to have them host a dinner party for me. Humble Crumble would always be my dessert of choice - they are definitely the best crumbles around.
Glastonbury would of course be a dream to work on - not least because it might mean we can actually get our hands on some tickets!
I’d have to say Primavera festival in Barcelona is up there with the best - nothing beats great music in the sunshine. The street food scene in Barcelona is so exciting, and Primavera always have the very best suppliers at the event.
