## The Bike Shed

[The Bike Shed’s](https://thebikeshed.cc/) response is pretty phenomenal. Their strong community has transformed into a volunteer rider’s group that spans the entirety of the UK. They’re providing a free courier-style service to help key workers and the vulnerable by transporting PPE equipment, medicine and food. All operations are run through Gophr, meaning the response is fast, efficient and hugely effective. Their opinion is that it’s the responsibility of those of us who are able to, to step up and help in whatever way we can and we’re completely on board with this.

## Village Underground & EartH

[Village Underground](https://www.villageunderground.co.uk/) & EartH are two of East London’s top independent venues and are suffering hugely as a result of the closure of both locations. They’re urging individuals to show their support through donations to ensure we’re able to enjoy the music and arts that these spaces play host to - yearly, this is typically over 1,500 artists and 200,000 people.

## Manchester Art Gallery

In response to the closure of all public galleries, [Manchester Art Gallery](https://manchesterartgallery.org/) has launched a series of online courses and exhibitions to instil wellness and creativity in the home. This is the first time they’ve ever had to close their doors, however, their digital presence has ensured that this historic cultural centre is still accessible for all. As a venue, the gallery is hugely inspirational, as well as being a stunning setting for an event.

## 58 Gin

58 Gin produce some of the finest handcrafted and premium artisan gin in the country, from their stunning distillery in East London. Their ethos is based in community action and so in response to this crisis, they turned their hand to creating Hand [‘Gin-itizer’](https://www.58gin.com/product/hand-sanitizer/) and are continuing to supply key workers and others with much-needed hand sanitiser. As with all our venue partners, they’ve witnessed a vast drop-off in business and so their initiative has allowed them to retain their workforce and survive as a small independent business, all by directly helping communities. 

## TT Liquor

[TT Liquor](https://ttliquor.co.uk/) is a very special place - both an intimate bar, a liquor shop and a venue offering a wide range of experiences. As the reality of opening still remains distant, they’re doing their bit with the launch of ‘Support Your Local’ t-shirts and tote bags with all profits going directly to their staff. Their famous bottleshop is doing deliveries of the essentials to their local London community and all future bookings are being taken with zero deposit.  

## Rich Mix

Rich Mix is nestled in the heart of Shoreditch and majestically spans five floors. Feast It partner venues - COVID responses

The outbreak of the Coronavirus has changed the shape of our world and many industries will be radically altered by its repercussions - few more so than the events world. We’ve seen the festival and live events sector, an industry worth more than £25bn worldwide, grind to a halt with any form of public gatherings being hit fast and hard as this crisis has unfolded. At Feast It we work with a wide range of events, from small independent festivals to large concerts and arena shows. We’re incredibly proud to be a stakeholder in this industry - the UK’s festival scene is the greatest in the world and we plan to do everything we can to help it survive this crisis. 

Many of the events and festivals that you had been planning to go to this summer involve 365 days of incredibly hard work, resulting in the few days of hedonism that we all know and love. This is financed entirely by ticket sales and it is this steady flow of income that enables the events to cover their running costs - including marketing, licencing, artist deposits, wages, infrastructure, materials, production and much more. Then in the latter stages, as the live event draws closer, further costs incurred include artists’ travel, accommodation and more. The reality is that even if every guest's ticket were to be rolled over to 2021, these events would be facing costs consisting of two years of production, with just one year of revenue. This is why a number of festivals are asking their attendees, if they can, to donate the value of their ticket to ensure these festivals are around for us all to enjoy and party at together in years to come!

## SoulCircus

Our friends at [SoulCircus](https://www.instagram.com/soulcircusfestival/) have pivoted their model to create ‘Soul Circus at home’. This is their new on-demand subscription service for online streaming the best of the SoulCircus Yoga & Wellness weekend, from yoga instructors to chefs. They’ve also offered 500 free weekend festival tickets to key workers, spreading their spirit of wellness to those in need of support for their work.

## El Dorado

Sadly, the [El Dorado](https://www.instagram.com/eldoradofestival/) team has taken the difficult decision to cancel this year’s festival. All tickets are being carried over to 2021 and for every ticket, they’re donating £5 across the Wye Valley NHS Trust and St Michael’s Hospice in support of local key workers. There’s been immense support for the festival, which promises to come back bigger and better in 2021!

## We Are FSTVL

The [FSTVL](https://www.instagram.com/wearefstvl/) team has taken the decision to postpone this year's festival and have now set a provisional date of 12th & 13th September. They’re hosting engaging social competitions, including Fatboy Slim House Party stream, for their community to get involved with and have released 100 FSTVL tickets to be won.

## Warm Up

Sharing a series of anecdotes and reflections from festival-goers, ‘Our Stories’ is bringing together the [Warm Up ](https://www.instagram.com/warm_up_festival/)community on their Instagram. The festival has sadly had to postpone their inaugural instalment until 2021. They have set up a [dontation page](https://www.gofundme.com/f/warm-up-festival-crowdfunder) to try and help them survive and are asking their community for help if they can give it at this time.

We've invested funds we'll never see again which puts a huge strain on our business. We're also aware of the implications for a lot of our community members who rely on the social aspect of our regular events; to be with like-minded people and enjoy music they love in a judgement free space. We feel a huge responsibility to other businesses as well as to our loyal ticket holders and hope we can pull through this to play our part in keeping the important events industry alive at a time when we'll really need it.” Amy Moffat, Director*

[51st State’s](https://www.instagram.com/51stfestival/) ‘Lockdown Live sessions’ are in full swing and keeping us all grooving at home, with awesome live sets. Positively, the festival is still set to go ahead on the 1st August, with the team closely monitoring the crisis and updating ticket holders as the situation develops..

## Hifields

[Hifields Festival ](https://www.instagram.com/hifieldsfest/)is still planning to go ahead from the 3rd - 5th October this year. However, with the outlook undoubtedly uncertain for public events, they’re monitoring progressions closely. For our quarantine listening, they’ve launched ‘Lockdown Booty Shakers’ on their MixCloud, releasing big tunes every two weeks. 

## Sound City

The difficult decision was made to postpone [Sound City](https://www.instagram.com/liverpoolsoundcity/) 2020 to September 25th - 27th, with all tickets valid for the date change. Their outlook is positive for things going ahead later this year and to keep us all entertained they hosted the epic ‘Stay at Home Festival’. This included performances from The Wombats and Friendly Fires, who will all be playing in September.

## Noisily

With this year’s [Noisily Festival](https://www.instagram.com/noisilyfestival/) cancelled, they’ve created a number of ways people can help them survive. For current ticket holders, their tickets will be automatically rolled over to the 2021 instalment. However, they’re asking that if you can, to donate this year’s ticket price - or even just a portion of it - in support of the festival and to keep it afloat. The Noisily team have also set up a crowdfunding page that can be found [here](https://noisilyfestival.com/) - all donations are welcome, with prizes up for grabs! 

## Houghton Festival 

[Houghton](https://www.instagram.com/houghtonfestival/) has been moved to 12th-15th August 2021, with its loyal following urged to carry over their tickets to next year and support the festival in its fifth year of being. Held in the beautiful grounds of Houghton Hall, the festival is famous for its 24 hour music licence, which creates a unique environment of uninterrupted joy for festival-goers and it's an experience we’re holding out for next year. 

## Gottwood Festival 

The [Gottwood](https://www.instagram.com/gottwood/) team have made the decision to postpone the festival to June 2021 and it’s fair to say the festival’s ticket holders will be left pining for the idyllic forest setting and swims on the secluded beach nearby. Positioned on the Welsh coast in Anglesey, Gottwood’s personality has been moulded not only by its environment, but their family ethos and expansive electronic line-up, all of which will ensure they have our full support going into 2021. 

## Shambala 

From live poetry and dance performances, to epic Spotify playlists that are powering us through the lockdown days, [Shambala](https://www.instagram.com/shambalafest/) have been sharing the delights of the festival through their social channels. The festival is one of our favourites as a team and they are due to celebrate their 20th anniversary this year. They are optimistic about the event going ahead this summer however if it is cancelled, tickets are being rolled over to 2021 when their “Adventures in Utopia” will resume again!

## 1- Pick a Theme

Choosing a theme is the best place to start when organising an event and an easy way to get your employees excited (announcing the theme is also a fool-proof way to get those invites out early so that you've got people locked in!). Themes are fun, interactive and help you with decorations, menus, outfits and much more - you can aways throw in a prize for best costume to incentivise those members of the team who might not be so keen on dressing up. Good costumes also lead to more photos being taken, meaning your event will be documented and shared!

The venue you pick for your party is key and when hosting parties for teams it's usually fun to take them out the office for an evening. ## 3- Photographer: Make sure your hard work is documented!

It might sound obvious, but hiring a photographer is the best way to make sure your event is remembered - also everyone loves to pose for a picture now and then (especially after a couple of glasses of wine...). Ensuring you have a professional photographer there takes your event to the next level, and we can guarantee that if you try to rely on yourself to take good pics, you'll either forget or kick yourself scrolling through your pictures for not having hired in a professional! Food is key at any event and we're particular fans of going that extra mile to give you and your guests an especially  memorable evening. A bespoke menu never disapoints and it could be just the ticket to impress your employees, as a sign of how far you've gone to create an amazing evening. ## Feast It was approached by student engagement company Native to help raise awareness of their brand and spread the word across the UK about all the cool things they're doing - so we wrapped ice cream vans with their branding and got this activation off the ground!

## Free ice cream! 
Native approached us wanting a fully wrapped ice cream van to travel round freshers' fairs in the UK and hand out free ice creams to all the students. What better way to get students on your side than a freebie in week one?!

Native wanted 12,000 ice creams distributed from one of our suppliers across a number of university campuses in the same week. So we curated the supplier, branded them up and ensured it all went smoothly so the Native team didn't have to worry. Travelling around in the multi-coloured van, with the slogan 'Free ice cream? You bet' embossed on the side, it's safe to say they got some good exposure, with its name spread far and wide amongst UK students.

The van also created hype on Instagram, its multi-coloured exterior making it very snappable!

Feast It X Native- I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream!

Feast It feature: brand activations to get people talking 

## Every May, The Bike Shed Festival welcomes motorcyclists from all over to Tobacco Dock in London, exhibiting bikes alongside live music and retailers. We supplied the food and drinks for 2018 and 2019!

The Bike Shed's festival spans an entire weekend, and we were tasked with keeping the 16,000 guests fed and happy for the entire event. We rose to the occasion, sourcing ten street-food suppliers, two dessert suppliers, and two coffee supppliers to keep everyone satisfied. Food options ranged from steak and chips, to meatballs and Mexican, meaning the only hardship for festival-goers was making that tough choice between a taco and a burger. Luckily for them, all our suppliers were there across the weekend, so they had plenty of time to try all the different cuisines on offer!

Our events team were on-hand on the day, and helped with everything from start to finish, working closely with the venue, Tobacco Dock, to ensure any food preparation restrictions were adhered to by all suppliers. We handlded it all, including supplier payments and all logistical planning, so that The Bike Shed team could focus on other important elements of the show. We had a member of our trusted events team on site all weekend to make sure that if there were any problems, they were dealt with smoothly and efficiently.

## Data Driven

Off the back of our success in supplying the festival in 2018, we were confident in our ability to make the offering even stronger for 2019. This was supported by our studying of the data colleted from the previous year's festival, to gague which suppliers and cuisines were most popular with attendees. We were able to learn and adapt from 2018 to improve the food offering in 2019 that best suited the audience, which resulted in a 30% increase in sales.

Feast It feature: exhibitions

Fika Event Productions approached us wanting a curated line up of food and drinks suppliers for a collection launch for a world-famous jewellery brand. So we rose to the occasion and pulled off a memorable evening that introduced the product to the world in style!

## Instagrammable eats 

In order to really get the word out there about this stunning new jewellery line, Fika wanted food and drinks that would be likely to appear frequently on their guestlist's social media feeds. With over 300 guests in attendance, this was the central focus for the client.

We sourced Fika Events four of our best suppliers, all of which were both wrapped with the brand's logo and served from embossed sustainable packaging. Each supplier's menu was bespoke, with emphasis on the sustainability of their ingredients used.

We handled all on-site logistics, including supplier placement and ensuring all venue restrictions were accounted for - this allowed the client to relinquish all responsibility and enjoy their big night.

## Feast Fridays! 

We're great believers in the basic concept that everyone loves good food, your employees included! So why not add some spice to their week and give the whole office a foody treat on a Friday. You could even make it a weekly staple if you really want to push the boat out. A weekly food delivery or lunch for the team on Fridays will almost certainly become everyone's higlight of the week. ## Spread the love

This might sound obvious, but making an effort on people's birthdays and anniversaries makes all the difference. A cake is always a winner, with a quick sing along as a team, and all in all it only takes about 10 minutes out of your day to make sure your employees feel loved! Putting in a little effort to find out for example, the birthday boy or girl's favourite cake flavour, never goes amiss. Equally as important, is to appreciate milestones in your employees' journeys with your company, whether it's 1 year or 10 it's great to stop and show your appreciation for their work.

## Interactive cooking sessions

These have proved very successful in the past amongst our corporate clients and are a great way of bringing people together. We have lots of lovely suppliers who would love to come into your office and take your team through a cooking lesson, with the promise of delicious food at the end, what more could you want?! ## Shout about their success

A great way to give your team a morale boost is to post about any good work they've done online. Linkedin, Twitter and Instagram are all good platform to promote your company whilst at the same time, naming employees who've done particularly exceptional work. This recognition will drive other team members to strive to be recognised, having a positive snowball effect and creating a good sense of team determination. Shouting about whole departments is a really positive action, inciting feelings of comoradarie between employees.
