Meet your Event Pro: Jaya

From the moment you submit an enquiry with Feast It, you're assigned a personal Event Pro. This team member will be with you every step of the way through your event organisation until after your event. Our Event Pros are experienced experts in events - there's no request to big and no question too silly for them.

Meet our lovely Event Pro, Jaya, who knows it's never too early to start organising!

The best thing about working in events is...

Definitely the huge range of clients and brands we get to work with. No two events are the same, which means every day (and even every call!) is different. Working with clients to understand exactly what they're looking for from their suppliers and then finding their perfect match is always great fun. Oh, and we often have food and drink suppliers into the office for us to sample their offerings - that's a definite added perk!

My top tip for organising your event is...

Get organised and start booking early! Our top suppliers get booked up way in advance - for summer months, they can be booked up to 12 months ahead. It's really disappointing when a client leaves it too late and their first preference is unavailable! It's definitely better to be organised way ahead of time so you have the pick of the bunch!

My favourite cuisine is...

Really hard to choose! I change my mind on a daily basis, depending on what I feel like. If I had to choose one, I’d probably have to say Japanese.

The coolest client I've booked an event for is...

Movember, Sweaty Betty and Boohoo.com were all great to work with and really interesting events!

My greatest culinary achievement is...

Cooking breakfast to order for a chalet of 24 people, including poached eggs!

My favourite Feast It suppliers are...

Tonbo Japanese Kitchen - their Poke bowls are the absolute best! Thaiangle for some Pad Thai. Chip Off The Block for the best cheesy chips in the biz and Cocktailmaker for a cheeky Espresso Martini!
