Meet your Event Pro: Mia

From the moment you submit an enquiry with Feast It, you're assigned a personal Event Pro. This team member will be with you every step of the way through your event organisation until after your event. Our Event Pros are experienced experts in events - there's no request to big and no question too silly for them.

Meet our lovely Event Pro, Mia, who has cooked alongside Masterchef finalists!

The best thing about working in events is...

Working with the suppliers we work with on a daily basis. Their passion, hard work and ‘up-for-anything’ attitude never goes unnoticed or unappreciated. What we see at events is only the half of it - there is an insane amount of love and creativity that goes into creating the food, drink and services that these guys offer, so it’s a pleasure chatting with them, knowing how much each event means to them and their businesses.

My top tip for organising your event is...

Go with your gut. Literally and metaphorically.

My party trick is...

I can sing the first few verses of ‘Despacito’ in Spanish, very impressive for when it comes on twice a year...

My favourite cuisine is...

Middle Eastern, without a doubt. The incredible flavours, simple ingredients and passion that goes into making the food is what makes it for me, that and the culture that surrounds it - sitting with friends and family with a mountain of hot, fresh pittas, velvet-smooth hummus and freshly fried falafel, is my happy place.

My greatest culinary achievement is...

Cooking for a Burns Night themed lunch at Conde Nast with two Masterchef finalists. Major imposter syndrome.

I embarass myself at parties by...

Picking up small bits of cardboard off the floor without using my hands...in a game fondly known as The Cereal Box game. It’s a thing, I promise. Best not to ask too many questions.

My favourite Feast It suppliers are...

Cue Point - for Middle Eastern food like you’ve never had it before, Laura Maclean - for the most stunning photos, Mix & Muddle (for some serious cocktails) and Humble Crumble (for the best darn crumble you’ll ever have).
