On Saturdays, between 10am and 2pm, Lewisham College Car Park is filled with fine food in many guises thanks to the weekly Brockley Market. A lesser known foodie hotspot, this little place packs a punch and gets better every week with some of the top food trucks in London vying for a pitch here. Our recommendation? Look out for the amazing Mike and Ollie and Mother Flipper.

Street Feast Model Market

Lewisham’s favourite night-time food party takes place in an abandoned 1950s covered market, and delicious portable dinners are served by the likes of Rola Wala, Bill or Beak and Spit and Roast. Booze comes in many varieties, most notably alcoholic slushies and shandies served from an old hair salon. Find a spot among the outdoor and indoor eating spaces, or head up to the rooftop to catch the evening sun in this amazing space.

Maltby Street Market
