Located in the heart of Clerkenwell, the Crypt on the Green offers a magnificent venue for exhibitions, wedding receptions, wine tastings, conferences, live performances and much more. 

With vaulted brick ceilings, original features from 1792, designer lighting & furniture from Tom Dixon, parquet flooring, and some truly unique clocks, your guests are sure to have a memorable time.

We have 4 spaces available to hire, so whether you're looking for a party location for 300 guests or a small meeting space for 10, we've got something on offer for you.

Please note, the Crypt on the Green is not available on Sundays!

The Crypt is a unique and versatile location. With vaulted ceilings, exposed brickwork & parquet flooring, the Crypt is a magnificent space for hosting wine tastings, networking events, wedding receptions, film shoots and much more. Eight large windows make this a wonderfully airy space with plenty of natural light. The Crypt can accommodate up to 300 guests for a standing reception and seat 150 guests for dining.

Located in the heart of Clerkenwell, one of London's most attractive, historic & accessible areas, and situated within walking distance of Farringdon & Angel tube stations.

The Crypt & Well

The Vestry is ideal for meetings and workshops, and is only a stone’s throw from Farringdon station. With a blend of the historic 1792 building with new Tom Dixon designer lights and furniture, it provides a welcome change from your average corporate meeting room. A perfect venue for your next board meeting, away-day or important presentation. This room is full of grandeur and is guaranteed to impress. Hire of the room includes a media screen with ClickShare facilities.

The Vestry

St James Church is a beautiful and relaxing space for corporate entertainment through to live music to round off your event in one of other spaces (The Crypt, The Well, The Vestry). Why not hold a press launch here followed by live music or cocktails outside in The Long Walk - weather permitting!
