Sri Lankan kalu pol pork

A rich, dark and intense pork curry. Kalu Pol (translates as 'black coconut') refers to the hot and aromatic spice blend of dried red chilli, fennel, cumin, mustard seed and richly roasted fresh coconut. Originating from when Sri Lanka was a Portuguese colony, it shares this heritage (and delicious heat) with its Goan counterpart - Vindaloo.
