Mr Pigstuff’s Handmade sauces feature throughout our menus The sauce flavours are not limited to, but include: Tomato, tamarind and chilli, Lime and green chilli, Pineapple and ginger ,XOx2 (a Chinese inspired sauce), and a truly excellent Barbeque sauce.
Our signature barbeque pares perfectly barbeque cooked meat, (basted and marinated with Mr Pigstuff’s handmade sauces) and epic salads. Served as superb street food style portions, as sharing platters or as a self service buffet. The meats include fork tender pork belly, slow cooked beef brisket, barbeque salmon, marinated chicken thighs, vegan koftas, meatless balls and prawns. The salads are made with attention to flavour and composition, with seasonal vegetables and excellent dressings.
A great canape is a thing of joy, a small bite to savour and enjoy amongst friends. An attractive and appealing nibble to start proceedings or to create a delightful break between meals. Simple and understated our canapes are approachable and crafted with culinary experience to deliver a depth of flavour in every bite. Things like chargrilled prawn skewers with burnt butter, honey mustard cocktail sausages, rare roast beef with horseradish cream, vegan mushroom pierogies or bacon wrapped scallops to name a few.
The ultimate meal for guests to graze upon, we provide perfectly barbeque cooked meats, (possibly basted and marinated with Mr Pigstuff’s handmade sauces) epic salads and vegetable dishes ready for guests to help themselves. Simply select the dishes you’d like us to serve, or have us create something to suit. Our menu is brimming with crowd pleasing favourites, Cumberland ring and pork & leek sausages, chicken wings, slow cooked pork ribs, classic cheeseburger, prawns and haloumi. Add on handmade desserts, chef stations or canapes if you like.
One of the dishes we always serve at our street food spots is what we call our Dirty Mac, it’s simply delicious, almost too cheesy. Completed with some rather epic toppings, slow cooked pork, bound with our own barbeque sauce, charred Cajun chicken, herb roast prawns or tomato and beef ragout. We also make an amazing vegan version!
Perfect for that friendly engaging chatty party, where the food is important, but the togetherness and social aspect of the event equally as important. This is a long, delicious and slow service that can last for hours if required, with a focus on enjoyment, sharing and friendship. We have a few separate menus that can be served in this style, with each client able to tweak and advise us on the menu best for them. Perhaps barbeque finished pork belly, charred marinated boneless chicken, char grilled Mediterranean vegetables, butcher made pork sausages with roasted onions and barbequed potatoes, 6 hour beef brisket basted in Mr Pigstuff’s Barbeque sauce, vegan sweet potato and brown rice meatless balls, tender barbeque pork ribs, even a Caesar salad with bacon replacing the traditional anchovies.
Brilliantly authentic Mexican flavours influenced by Iain’s culinary adventures in central Mexico. With menus filled with strong robust flavours pork pibil, Oaxacan mole, achiote, chipotle and ancho. Tempered with toasted corn, beans, firm cheese and soured cream and enhanced with salsas, guacamole and slow cooked onions. These aren’t just the usual flavours you may have experienced, but brighter bigger fresher ones.
Bowl foods are less casual than a plated meal, but more formal than a street food focused event. We often pair a bowl food event with canapes so those who would rather not surrender their drink can also eat well. Delicious canapes and beautiful bowls passed around an event all designed to be eaten while standing.
