Inspired by a year of travelling, the team behind Pop-Ice developed the taste for doing something deliciously different. Returning back home during a grey and miserable February, they decided to throw caution to the wind (and the rain) and purchase a beautifully vintage Renault Estafette van, now known as ‘Poppy’.
On the Pop-Ice menu you will find premium Devonshire ice cream and sorbets, including alcohol-infused flavours (perfect to get your party 'popping') and their very own cocktail-inspired poptails too which can be made bespoke to your special event. Pop-Ice can also supply an additional 'Tuck Shop' menu of baked goods, sweets, snacks and hot and cold drinks, perfect for festivals and studio catering.
With 'Poppy' and the new addition to the family 'Mini-Pop' the ice cream cart, Pop-Ice can offer a catering service all year round, both outdoors and indoors, so you and your guests can enjoy their tasty treats whatever the weather!
From day one, Pop-Ice have operated an environmental policy designed to reduce their use of fossil fuels by adding solar panels and leisure batteries to 'Poppy', making them unique within the mobile catering industry. They also use only recyclable, reusable, or compostable products and any excess food wastage is gifted to their local community centre.
