Roxie’s BBQ Spot serves up seriously tasty cuts of meat such as pork shoulder, beef brisket and lamb shoulder, all slow cooked for a total of 10 hours and served with a selection of mouthwatering sides including chicken wings, merguez-style lamb sausages as well as fresh seasonal salads, Ancho chilli hummus and flatbread.
The meat is all slow-cooked after being marinated in a bespoke spice rub, making it deliciously tender when served. Not forgetting about the non-meat eaters, there are seriously tasty vegetarian and options of Bermondsey Frier cheese and smoked pulled aubergine. The founder, Matt, is an experienced chef and has a lot of fantastic recipes in his repertoire and is always happy to customise the menu to suit your tastes.
The delicious BBQ food is served from a 3m x 3m market stall, which is the perfect size to fit into most spaces and its cool signage gives events that cool American BBQ feel. The team can serve around 30/40 portions an hour.
