Ghanaian gurus Spinach and Agushi have been exposing London to the mouth-watering delights of authentic West African food for well over a decade now, starting out from a stall at Broadway Market all the way back in 2004 and have been working the streets ever since.
They were one of the original driving forces in pushing London’s street food scene into the diverse, gourmet space it now occupies and have quite rightly built a huge cult following that sees huge queues at the stall wherever they set up shop; they’re worth the wait!
They’ve worked for some amazing corporate and private clients in the past, such as Google, Action Aid, Nike and Amnesty and it’s also no surprise at all that they’ve also been featured by Time Out as one of London’s best street food joints.
If you invite S&A along to your event you can expect delicious Ghanaian dishes served from their gazebo set-up, including their chicken in peanut sauce, the beef and bell pepper and, of course, the spinach and agushi; a blend of baby leaf spinach, mushroom, tomato and crushed melon seeds.
The dishes are all served with a bit of individual flair and the flavours are bold, vibrant and often spicy. This is food that will get your guests talking!
