Yu-ca-taco’s founding philosophy is to provide high quality traditional Mexican food (to those who might otherwise not have access to it) at an affordable price. They believe in local and responsible food sourcing, especially when it comes to meat, and aim to completely eliminate plastic waste by avoiding single-use plastics.
The Yu-ca-taco team have never met a person who didn’t like real Mexican food. In 2010, Mexican food was recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, but Yu-ca-taco go one step further: they believe that access to this life-changing cuisine should be upgraded to a universal human right. In lieu of a Government-Funded Mexican-Food Relief-Scheme (or GFMFRS), Yu-ca-taco have taken it upon themselves to provide this essential service.
The menu includes classic soft-shell corn tortillas, filled with slow-cooked meat (or beans for the veggies and vegans), topped with fresh salad and home-made salsas. It’s all served from their awesome yellow horsebox which is guaranteed to be the focal point at any event!
