Chargrilled Hereford Bavette steak served with hand cut, rosemary salted fries and rocket leaves and a choice of freshly made sauces
A chance meeting between Colin Jennings, a top restaurant chef with over 20 years of experience, and Jonny Batie, born and bred street food connoisseur, lead the pair to set up the amazing 'Bavette' after discussing the need to bring gourmet steak frites to the people!
We're so, so glad they did because we believe they now serve up the very, very best steak frites around out of their utterly gorgeous little 1972 Airstream Argosy.
Their beef is sourced from Hereford and is hung and dry aged for 28 days so the quality couldn't be any better! Then they simply season it before flame grilling for maximum flavour and serve with hand cut, rosemary salted fries and rocket leaves. They also provide a range of tasty freshly made sauces which change daily.
Alternatively, go for one of their awesome 'Bavette' burgers - a hand pressed patty made from a blend of brisket and bavette served with slices of medium rare bavette, smoked pancetta and melted cheese in a soft brioche bun - it's beyond delicious!
